OVERNIGHT CAMP


SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
Registrations dated after June 30th will require payment in full at the time of registration. Syracuse University and SULAX are not responsiable for campers personal items which are lost or stolen during camp. It is the responsiability of the camper to make sure their rooms are locked and valuables secured at all times.
REGISTRATION
Camp Registration for CLINIC participants will be held from 8 - 11:30 on July 20th followed by lunch and the 1st session. Registration for the rest of overnight campers is held from 8 - 11:30 on July 21st followed by lunch and an introductory camp meeting. Those who attend the clinic DO NOT need to register again on the 21st.
MEALS
The professional kitchen staff of Syracuse University Dining Services plan and prepare every meal. Each meal is all you can eat and drink. Meals will be served 3 times daily in a campus dining facility.
INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE
All participants must complete the medical information required during registration. In addition, all campers must have their own medical insurance. Participants will be covered under a health and accident insurance policy that provides secondary limited coverage to all players. The tournament will have a medical trainer on site at all times. In addition a doctor is only a couple minutes away from both the fields and dorms.
REFUND POLICY
A $35 administrative fee will be retained if a player cancels, regardless of reason. After July 8th refunds(less the administrative fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a letter from a physician.

RULES & REGULATIONS
It is a pleasure to have the lacrosse camp operationg on the Syracuse University Campus. This is a great location, an educational atmosphere, and it will be an exciting week. Being here carries with it certain responsibilities. There are others on campus as well as in the camp and we must not interfere with their programs. We must have rules in which we operate. The rules are as follows.

LOST OF KEY: REPORT to MAIN DESK and to Coach Desko. Replacement Keys Cost $40
PHONE CALLS: You may use Cell Phones to make phone calls. The University's extension phones will not call off campus
ROOMS: All campers rooms are to be kept neat and clean at all times.
BREAKAGE: Inspection of rooms is made at the end of the camps. If furniture or other equipment is broken or damaged, campers will be required to pay for it. Please note furniture is not to be removed from any room.
COUNSELORS: There are college counselors in addition to the coaching staff. Each is here to help you enjoy your stay. Reports of misconduct, illness, breakage, etc. should be made to Coach Desko or your Division Commissioner.
DRESS: Campers are expected to dress appropriately for each session and must wear the camp-issued reversible jersey to all on-field sessions.
ALARMS: For the protection of the campus community, the investigation of any false alarms will be referred to the proper authorities for investigation and udgement. Any camper found guilty will be dismissed from camp.
DINING: All campers must be wearing their meal band when attending meals. All trays must be taken to Tray Return Area. Campers MUST attend all meals. Shoes are reuqired at all times in Dining Halls, No food is to be brought out of the Dining Hall.
OUT OF CAMP PERMISSION: Campers are not allowed to leave camp premises, unless they have permission from the Camp Director.
IPODS, RADIOS and CD PLAYERS: May be used in your room. Be considerate of others and keep the volume down. If they are too noisy, we reserved the right to prohibit your listening in your room. They are not to be played after 10:30 PM
ROOM: All campers are checked into their rooms at the proper times. Counselors will report to the administration any campers who fail to conform to these rules. Campers must be in their rooms are 10:30 each night with lights out at 11:00 pm
LAUNDRY: There are laundry facilities in the dorms. Check at the front desk.
WALKING IN ROADS: We share the campus streets with vehicles. Be careful and walk on sidewalks.
ILLNESS: If you are ill, report this at once. Tell one of the counselors and they will contact either Coach Desko or your Division Commissioner, who will see that you get the proper attention. Unless you are ill or excused, you are required to attend every lacrosse session. There is a trainer at the fields during all sessions, as well as at the dorms overnight.
SITTING OR LEANING OUT WINDOWS: Not under any circumstances are you allowed to remove window screens. We do our best to prevent accidents, and we need your help. Immediate actions will be taken against campers who do not comply.
GENERAL: No fooling around on elevators, YOU WILL BE DISMISSED FROM CAMP! Report all injuries, no matter how slight to the TRAINER. NO wall ball or playing ball in the halls. CARS: Car parking in lots with proper parking pass ONLY ... see Coach Desko. If you are driving yourself to camp - Keys must be left at registration and will be returned at the end of camp.
BUSES: For the convenience and saftey of our campers, the Syracuse University Men's Lacrosse Camp will use buses for the transportation of campers to and from the dorms and fields. All campers will treat the drives with respect and will follow all bus rules.
PARTICIPANTS CODE OF CONDUCT
All participants - players, coaches, officials, as well as family and friends in attendance must abide by the SULax Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
